2018-2019 School Calendar
The Board of Trustees adopted calendar Option 1 for the 2018-2019 school year. This calendar received the most votes from the community, staff and students. Chinese and Spanish Immersion Program Enrollment
The enrollment window for 2018- 2019 new Chinese and Spanish Immersion applications is open from Thursday, February 1 through Friday, March 16. During this window, new applicants must apply online using the District’s New Student/Returning Student enrollment link located on the district’s website at www.jeffersonsd251.org. Returning immersion students do not need to apply.
If we have more applicants than seats available, a selection process will be held the first part of April. At that time, parents will be notified if their child has either been accepted or been placed on the waiting list.

Kindergarten Round-Up 2018
Kindergarten Round-up is scheduled for March 14 from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. and March 15 from 3:30 p.m. -7:30 p.m. Children must be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2018, to enroll in kindergarten. Bring the following items with you when registering your child: The child you will be enrolling in kindergarten, certified birth certificate, immunization records, and proof of residency (utility bill preferred).
School Bus Drivers and Substitute Teachers Needed
School Bus Drivers and Substitute Teachers are needed for the school year. Training is provided. To apply for a school bus driver or substitute teacher position go to the Employment Opportunities link on the front page of the district’s website and complete an application.
